The Ranches is a gated, 24-hour staffed community of 176 units in Port Jefferson Station, NY, and one of the most active communities we host. The homepage regularly lists five events within 48 hours — water aerobics, mah jongg, bocce, crafting. Amenities include a clubhouse with great room and card room, billiards, fitness center, library, heated pool, tennis, pickleball, and a putting green. Built and maintained by Sundahl Digital.

Positive:
This is consistently one of the most active, engaged communities in our entire network. The homepage surfaces a genuinely busy calendar beside live home listings and monthly newsletters. With a 24-hour staffed gatehouse and an amenity list this long, the site has to keep up, and it does.
Negative:
We have nothing negative to say! With one of the busiest calendars in the network, we're always refining the events calendar and listings board to match how active this community stays.
